Elmhurst City Council to tackle city-employee pay issues in closed session

The Elmhurst City Council will discuss employee-compensation issues during an executive session 7 p.m. Tuesday at City Hall, 209 N. York St., preceding the council’s regular biweekly meeting.

At the regular meeting, the council will receive reports on an Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) Funding Agreement and from Construction and Engineering Services concerning the South York Street Resurfacing Project, the B&A Monster Channel Rebuild Project, the 2016-2018 Tree Removal and Tree Trimming Contract, and the York and Vallette Business Association's 2016 Farmers Market and Fall Fest.

The council also will consider several ordinances concerning bids for contracted services such as data backup, audio/visual equipment, and turf and landscape maintenance, as well as proposals to purchase several vehicles.
