The Village of Downers Grove will hold its regular public council meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Council Chambers.
The agenda for the meeting includes a review of the village’s budget, including resolutions and approvals of purchases, as well as an overview of tax-levy ordinances.
Village officials always invite residents to attend public meetings to offer comments and other input. However, through the village's new “rEmarks” application, residents and other stakeholders can offer opinions on a meeting's agenda items online. The website has a user-friendly interface, and users can register in about five minutes. Comments are forwarded to the Village Council.
