Westmont requests public feedback on this year's fair.
The Village of Westmont is looking for public feedback on this year's Westmont Street Fair and Cruisin’ Nights.
“It’s important to keep the community dialogue going and get feedback from residents, businesses and guests to the community,” Larry McIntyre, Village of Westmont communications director, said. “Obviously, these events create an impact to the downtown, but they also draw tens of thousands of people to Westmont every summer, so there are some tradeoffs to consider. Ultimately, we all want what's best for Westmont and we’re always interested in trying to make improvements when possible."
Residents are asked to complete a short survey. Information from the survey will be used in the planning of next year's event.
“The entire community comes together to make these events possible,” Westmont Special Events President John Chorney said. “We want to thank everyone who participates -- our sponsors, volunteers, business community, public agencies and community organizations. We couldn’t do it without you.”
The full survey is available online.
