The city of Warrenville, Illinois, is putting motorists on notice that Warrenville Road Bridge will be closed between River Road and Second Street through year's end for the replacement of the Warrenville Road Bridge.
Local businesses will remain open during road construction, and a vehicle detour has been posted to direct traffic around the closure to Winfield, Ferry and River roads. A pedestrian detour also has been posted, directing pedestrians to use Batavia Road to the foot bridge in the Warrenville Grove Forest Preserve and then to Second Street to return to Warrenville Road.
