Rohr’s prescription monitoring bill advances through Illinois Legislature

Legislation sponsored by State Rep. Janet Yang Rohr mandates that prescribers document their attempts to review the state Prescription Monitoring Program when issuing Schedule II or IV prescriptions, according to the Illinois General Assembly.

In the House, support came from 73 Democrats and 38 Republicans who voted to approve the measure.
