Report: DuPage School District spent $18,831 per student in 2019-20
Spending per pupil at DuPage High School District 88 was down 4.4 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.
The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $19,707 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $18,831 in 2019-20.
The district's enrollment fell from 4,075 to 3,921 students over the same period.
DuPage's spending in 2019-20 was 29.9 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
