Q3 2018 parolees recap: who was paroled in Bensenville?
There were two offenders released on parole during the third quarter that live in Bensenville zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that both of the released offenders in Bensenville were men. The younger parolee is a 42-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving alcohol in 2016, and the other is a 44-year-old man sentenced for sex crimes in 2010.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Marco A. Garcia. He was convicted of crimes involving alcohol in 2016 when he was 39 years old. He is now 42.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
