Q1 2019 parolees recap: who was paroled in Lisle?
There were two offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Lisle zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.
The data shows that both of the released offenders in Lisle were men. The younger parolee is a 30-year-old man sentenced for property crimes in 2018, and the other is a 47-year-old man sentenced for crimes involving drugs in 2014.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest is Jerome Thompson. He was convicted of crimes involving drugs in 2014 when he was 42 years old. He is now 47.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
