Pricing for the median home in Addison increased during the third quarter of 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in the third quarter of 2021 in Addison rose by $33,000 while total sales increased by 41.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through September of 2021, there were 157 homes sold, with a median sale price of $280,000 - a 13.4% increase over the $247,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 111 homes sold in Addison in the third quarter of 2020.

The median sales tax in Addison for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $5,443, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the third quarter of 2021.
