On Sunday, March 23 former Hinsdale Central High School Sarah Cernugel competed in hopes to reach NCAA Division I Basketball Championship

On Sunday, March 23, former Hinsdale Central High School standout Sarah Cernugel’s current collegiate team the Notre Dame Fighting Irish won 76-55 against the Michigan Wolverines in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Purcell Pavilion, this was the first game against the Michigan Wolverines during the championship.

Sarah Cernugel’s hometown is Westmont and game position is guard.
