On Sunday, March 16, former Lake Park High School standout Michela Barbanente’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Sunday, March 16, former Lake Park High School standout Michela Barbanente’s current college team, the Penn State Nittany Lions, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

The game took place at Devon Park. This was their second matchup against the Golden Gophers this season.

The Nittany Lions’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at Andy Mohr Field against Indiana Hoosiers.
