On Saturday, March 23, former Hinsdale Central High School Health Services Sarah Cernugel collegiate team won in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament

On Saturday, March 23, former Hinsdale Central High School Health Services standout Sarah Cernugel’s current collegiate team the Notre Dame Fighting Irish won 81-67 against the Kent State Golden Flashes in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in South Bend, Indiana, this was the first game against the Kent State Golden Flashes during the championship.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish’s next game will take place on Monday, March 25 at 1 p.m. in South Bend, Indiana against Ole Miss Rebels.
