On Saturday, April 5, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Saturday, April 5, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 18-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Emory G. Bauer Field. This was their second matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
