On Friday, Jan. 31, former Downers Grove North High School standout Maya Rodriguez’s college team lost in an NCAA Division II softball game

On Friday, Jan. 31, former Downers Grove North High School standout Maya Rodriguez’s current college team, the Indianapolis Greyhounds, lost 4-2 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Cedarville Yellow Jackets.

The game took place at Cedar Stone Park. This was their first matchup against the Yellow Jackets this season.

The Greyhounds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 1 at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Stone Park against Ohio Dominican Panthers.
