On Friday, Feb. 28, former York Community High School standout Lauren Derkowski’s college team won in an NCAA Division I softball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former York Community High School standout Lauren Derkowski’s current college team, the Michigan Wolverines, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the North Carolina State Wolfpack.

The game took place at Dail Softball Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Wolfpack this season.

The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 4 at 5 p.m. at Anderson Softball Stadium against North Carolina Tar Heels.
