Oak School hosts “Blah Buster” event with volunteer support

More than 30 volunteers contributed to the recent "Blah Buster" event at Oak School, which drew families together for an evening of activities designed to lift spirits during winter. The event was organized by co-vice presidents Kenneth Moy and Natasha Yaqub.

The evening included a magician, a mechanical bull, inflatables, face painting, balloon artists, and a cake walk. Organizers expressed appreciation for the volunteers' time and effort.

"The success of the 'Blah Buster' is a testament to the incredible spirit and commitment of the Oak School community," organizers said.

Oak Elementary School is part of Hinsdale Community Consolidated School District 181, which includes several schools in DuPage and Cook counties such as Clarendon Hills Middle School, Elm Elementary School, Hinsdale Middle School, Madison Elementary School, Monroe Elementary School, Prospect Elementary School, The Lane Elementary School, and Walker School.
