Northern Iowa falls to St. John's, 79-53, in NCAA Tournament with former Waubonsie Valley standout

On Friday, March 20, the Northern Iowa Panthers, featuring former Waubonsie Valley High School basketball standout Ben Schwieger, were defeated 79-53 by the St. John's Red Storm during the NCAA Tournament.
The matchup occurred at Viejas Arena with tip-off at 6:10 p.m.
Schwieger tallied two points, eight rebounds, one assist and one steal across 30 minutes of play.
