National Farmers Market Week celebrates local agriculture and farmers

This week marks the beginning of National Farmers Market Week, a period dedicated to celebrating local agriculture and the farmers who provide fresh produce and goods.

"I haven’t had time to stop by a local farmers market yet this summer, but I am open to recommendations," said one community member.

Residents are encouraged to share their favorite suburban DuPage and Cook County farmers markets.
