Max Vaisvila helps Northern Illinois secure 8-2 victory over Ohio on March 8

Former Willowbrook High School star Max Vaisvila contributed to the Northern Illinois Huskies' 8-2 win over the Ohio Bobcats in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup at noon on Sunday, March 8.
The game, held at Bob Wren Stadium, was the third meeting between these teams this season. Northern Illinois previously defeated the Bobcats 13-1 on Saturday, March 7.
Vaisvila pitched six innings, giving up one earned run and recording eight strikeouts.
Northern Illinois is set to play next on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. against the Toledo Rockets at Scott Park Baseball Complex.
