Lake Park High School standout Catherine Nielsen’s college team lost in NCAA Division II softball game on Sunday, March 9

On Sunday, March 9, former Lake Park High School standout Catherine Nielsen’s current college team, the Quincy Hawks, lost 20-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the UIS Prairie Stars.

The game took place at UIS Softball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Prairie Stars this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at UIS Softball Complex against UIS Prairie Stars.
