Illinois Wesleyan and Elmhurst players earn weekly lacrosse honors from CCIW

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) has announced the Men's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week for games played from March 17 to March 23.

Timothy McHugh, a sophomore from Illinois Wesleyan, was recognized for his offensive performance. He achieved a career-high nine points with five goals and four assists in a comeback win against Calvin, which ended 18-15. McHugh also contributed three ground balls during the game.

On the defensive side, Noah Mickelson, a senior from Elmhurst, was honored for his efforts in a match against Albion. Mickelson made 12 saves and held Albion to six goals in Elmhurst's 14-6 victory. His performance included four ground balls, two caused turnovers, and a .667 save percentage while facing 38 shots.
