For the third year in a row, the Hinsdale Middle School Student Council has partnered with another school district in the Chicago area to support military families during the holiday season. This year, students and their families sponsored 15 military families, fulfilling all items on their holiday wish lists.

The event is part of the D181 Sister Schools program, which encourages collaboration between schools in the region. As part of this initiative, students from Hinsdale Middle School and their families purchased gifts based on wish lists provided by military families from a partnering district.

"This annual event is a deeply meaningful project for the HMS community, allowing students to learn the value of service and giving back. By providing special items for the families, the students are helping to make the holidays brighter for those who serve our country and their loved ones. The continued success of this event highlights the commitment of the HMS Student Council and the generosity of the students and families in D181."
