Harvard falls to California Baptist 11-4 with Daniel Sams on the mound

Harvard Crimson, featuring former Fenton High School standout Daniel Sams, suffered an 11-4 defeat in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup against the California Baptist Lancers on Saturday, March 14, at 6 p.m.

The contest took place at James W. Totman Stadium and marked the teams' second meeting this season. In the preceding matchup on Friday, March 13, the Crimson lost 5-1 to the Lancers.

Sams pitched for 2.1 innings, giving up four earned runs with one walk and two strikeouts.

Harvard is set to face the Lancers again on Sunday, March 15, at James W. Totman Stadium.
