Gino Cozzi, former Downers Grove South High School standout, played on Tuesday, Feb. 4 in NCAA Division II baseball game

On Tuesday, Feb. 4, former Downers Grove South High School standout Gino Cozzi’s current college team, the Montevallo Falcons, won 7-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Spring Hill Badgers.

The game took place at Historic Sims-Galle Field. This was their first matchup against the Badgers this season.

The Falcons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7 at 5 p.m. at Kermit A. Johnson Field at Bob Riesener Stadium against Tampa Spartans.
