George Wolkow’s team, the Winston-Salem Dash, secures 6-3 MiLB victory over Rome Emperors

Former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow helped the Winston-Salem Dash win 6-3 in Sunday’s MiLB matchup against the Rome Emperors, which started at 2 p.m. on May 31.

The game, played at Truist Stadium, marked the sixth contest between the teams this season. With this victory, the Dash now lead the season series 4-2 over the Emperors.

Wolkow recorded one hit in three at-bats, scored two runs, walked once and struck out once.

The Dash are set to play their next game at Truist Stadium on Tuesday, June 2, facing off against the Winston-Salem Dash.
