George Wolkow takes the field as Winston-Salem Dash fall 3-2 to Rome Emperors

Former Downers Grove North High School standout George Wolkow played for the Winston-Salem Dash on Friday, May 29, at 6:30 p.m., as the team came up short in a 3-2 MiLB defeat against the Rome Emperors.
The contest was held at Truist Stadium and marked the fourth encounter between the squads this year, leaving the season series tied at 2-2.
Wolkow finished the game without a hit in 3 at-bats, collected 1 RBI, and stranded 1 runner on base.
The Dash are set to play their next matchup at Truist Stadium on Saturday, May 30.
