Friday, April 4: York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s college team wins to Valparaiso Beacons

On Friday, April 4, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 2-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Valparaiso Beacons.

The game took place at Emory G. Bauer Field. This was their first matchup against the Beacons this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 3:05 p.m. at Emory G. Bauer Field against Valparaiso Beacons.
