Former Downers Grove North High School standout Maggie Ward played on Friday, May 23 in hopes of reaching the NCAA Division III Softball Championship

On Friday, May 23, former Downers Grove North High School standout Maggie Ward’s current collegiate team the UW Whitewater Warhawks lost 1-7 against the Saint Mary's Cardinals in the NCAA Division III Softball Championship.

The game took place at Saint Mary's Softball Field at 3:30 p.m. and was the third matchup against the Saint Mary's Cardinals in the tournament.

The UW Whitewater Warhawks’ next game will take place on Friday, May 23 at 3:30 p.m. at Saint Mary's Softball Field.
