1. CALL TO ORDER
11:00 AM meeting was called to order by Chair Saba Haider at 11:28 AM.
2. ROLL CALL

No public comments were offered.
4. CHAIRWOMAN'S REMARKS - CHAIR HAIDER
In her opening remarks to the committee upon its final meeting of 2025, Chair Haider thanked everyone present for their efforts in making the strategic planning process for DuPage County such a great success. The fact that the County is tracking and staying ahead of the strategic plan objectives is a huge testament to the work of every department and all staff who were involved.

6. PRESENTATION
6.A. Fiscal Responsibility and Thriving Economy
In his introductory remarks, Evan Shields noted that this meeting will focus on the final two priorities of the DuPage County Strategic Plan, Fiscal Responsibility and Thriving Economy. The presenters were Nicole Long, Principal Budget Analyst from the Finance Department; Lisa Schvach, Executive Director,workNet DuPage; and Greg Bedalov, President and CEO, Choose DuPage.
Nicole Long's presentation on Fiscal Responsibility highlighted the goal of maintaining the highest standards of financial planning, forecasting, transparency, risk analysis and innovation to ensure DuPage County has a sustainable financial future.
Lisa Schvach of workNet DuPage next spoke on the issue of Thriving Economy. One of the goals of workNet is to increase access to employment and career opportunities through workforce development programming designed for a diverse population. Greg Bedalov of Choose DuPage next spoke on Thriving Together - Business, Community and Economic Growth in DuPage County.
At the conclusion of each presentation, the speakers received questions and comments from committee members.
