Dupage City home prices rise in the fourth quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2019 in Dupage City rose by $6,000 while total sales decreased by 41.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2019, there were 25 homes sold, with a median sale price of $125,000 - a 5% increase over the $119,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 43 homes sold in Dupage City in the fourth quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dupage City for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $2,395, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2019.
