Downers Grove North alum Violet Mitchell helps Denison advance in NCAA Division III tournament

Denison Big Red, featuring former Downers Grove North High School standout Violet Mitchell, claimed a 55-41 victory over the Scranton Lady Royals in the NCAA Division III Tournament on Saturday, March 21.
The matchup was held at the Cregger Center at 4 p.m.
Mitchell contributed six points, three rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes on the court.
