F. BUSINESS OF MEETING

Update from Staff Liaison Kassandra Hernandez-Galvan regarding the League Cycling Instructors (LCI) certification: At this time, the LCI certification may not be the most appropriate option for BPAC. However, staff and BPAC members can explore alternative educational seminars or training opportunities. If a program is identified as beneficial to the organization, BPAC could consider participating. Budget planning occurs in September–October, so potential seminars or trainings should be identified in advance for consideration in the FY28 budget.

Jessica Nooney from the Education Department at Ride Illinois shared that she offers an Improved Bike Safety course at Bike Rodeos. Staff Liaison Kassandra Hernandez-Galvan will gather additional information about this opportunity.

There are no new updates regarding the Spring Fling event at this time. It is still scheduled for
