The campaign committee Citizens to Elect Richard Wooten owes a $1,750 fine imposed on June 8, 2015 with Sean Washington listed as the responsible officer, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 172 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $995,091 in pending fines.
