Chris Danko, former York Community High School standout, played on Saturday, April 12 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Saturday, April 12, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, won 7-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Evansville Purple Aces.

The game took place at Duffy Bass Field. This was their second matchup against the Purple Aces this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Duffy Bass Field against Evansville Purple Aces.
