Chris Danko, former York Community High School standout, played on Friday, Feb. 28 in NCAA Division I baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 28, former York Community High School standout Chris Danko’s current college team, the Illinois State Redbirds, lost 8-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Lindenwood Lions.

The game took place at Lou Brock Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Redbirds’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Lou Brock Sports Complex against Lindenwood Lions.
