Bolingbrook (DuPage County) home prices rise in the first half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2017 in Bolingbrook in DuPage County rose by $11,250 while total sales increased by 16.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2017, there were seven homes sold, with a median sale price of $257,500 – a 4.6% increase over the $246,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were six homes sold in Bolingbrook in the first half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Bolingbrook for 2017 was $6,619. In 2016, the median sales tax was $6,591. This marks an increase of 0.4%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.6%.
