Alex Simon and Charlie Bergin, former Hinsdale Central High School standouts, played on Friday, Feb. 14 in NCAA Division III baseball game

On Friday, Feb. 14, former Hinsdale Central High School standouts Alex Simon and Charlie Bergin’s current college team, the Augustana College Vikings, won 5-1 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Webster Gorloks.

The game took place at Stauffer Field. This was their first matchup against the Gorloks this season.

The Vikings’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 12 p.m. at Rantoul Sports Complex against Beloit Buccaneers.
