As of March 9, there have been 35,956 Will County residents under 20-years-old who have tested positive for COVID-19, according to numbers being reported to the Illinois Department of Public Health.
There have been 477,508 residents under 20-years-old in the county who had been tested, meaning that 7.5 percent of those tested have the coronavirus. Through March 9, there have been 160,252 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 1,503 deaths from the coronavirus in Will County.
