1 Will County resident 80 or older tests positive for COVID-19 on Aug. 3

One Will County resident 80 years of age and older tested positive for COVID-19 on August 3, according to numbers being reported by the Illinois Department of Public Health.

In total, there have been 426 positive cases reported in Will County among residents 80 and older, accounting for 4.9 percent of all cases in the county. Through August 3, Will County has reported a total of 8,650 confirmed cases of the coronavirus, 339 of which have ended with the victim's death.
