Winston-Salem Dash secure 9-5 win as George Wolkow collects 2 hits

On Friday, May 15, at 6:30 p.m., George Wolkow, a former Downers Grove North High School standout, helped the Winston-Salem Dash to a 9-5 win in their Minor League Baseball matchup with the Wilmington Blue Rocks.
The match was held at Truist Stadium. It marked the fourth game this season between these teams, with the Dash now leading the series 3-1 over the Blue Rocks.
Wolkow went 2-for-4 at the plate, tallied 2 runs, struck out once, and stranded 1 runner.
The Dash are set for their next game Saturday, May 16, at Truist Stadium, again against the Winston-Salem Dash.
