Violet Mitchell helps Denison win NCAA Division III tournament opener on March 13
Former Downers Grove North High School athlete Violet Mitchell contributed to Denison's 86-67 victory over John Carroll in the NCAA Division III Basketball Tournament on Friday, March 13.
Holekamp Gym hosted the game at 5:30 p.m., marking Denison's first tournament contest against the John Carroll Blue Streaks.
Denison's next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 8 p.m., also at Holekamp Gym.
