The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Wheaton rose by $33,250 while total sales increased by 11.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 582 homes sold, with a median sale price of $370,000 - a 9.9% increase over the $336,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 520 homes sold in Wheaton in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Wheaton for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $7,801, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
