North Park University freshman Jessica Dudas has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s tennis. The announcement was made Wednesday morning.
Dudas secured the Vikings’ dual victory over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday, competing in the #4 singles position. After losing the first set in a 10-8 tiebreak, she won the second set 6-4. In the third set, Dudas was behind 5-2 but managed to come back and win 7-5.
The CCIW has recognized several student-athletes for their performances during the 2025-26 women’s tennis season. The weekly honorees include Abigail Penados from North Central, Natasa Pupovac from Carroll, Xingchen Liu from Carthage, Madeline Gentry from Wheaton, Maddy Harned from Augustana, and Alexandra Pugachova from North Park.
