Illinois Wesleyan University's women's volleyball team has reached its highest-ever position in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) rankings, moving up to sixth place in the latest poll released on Tuesday. The team improved by one spot compared to the previous week.

The Titans currently hold a 15-1 overall record and are undefeated in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) with a 4-0 conference record. The team earned 1,669 points in the new AVCA poll. Last Wednesday, Illinois Wesleyan secured a four-set victory against Carthage, marking their second consecutive win.

The top five teams in the AVCA rankings remain unchanged: La Verne, East Texas Baptist, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Wisconsin-Whitewater, and Juniata. Illinois Wesleyan moved ahead of Emory in the latest update.
