Illinois Wesleyan University's Taylor French and Sophia Feeney, along with Millikin University's Kyra Carothers, have been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week.

Taylor French, recognized as Hitter of the Week, played a key role in Illinois Wesleyan's win over Carthage last Wednesday. French recorded 16 kills with a .262 hitting percentage, six aces, 13 digs, and one block during the four-set match. This victory improved the Titans’ record to 15-1 overall and 4-0 in conference play.

Sophia Feeney, selected as Setter of the Week, is a junior from Bloomington, Illinois. She contributed 28 assists and five digs in Illinois Wesleyan’s win against Carthage.

Kyra Carothers from Millikin was honored as Defensive Player of the Week. She led her team in blocking during a week that included two losses to top-ten AVCA teams and a five-set conference win over Wheaton. Carothers tallied 22 total blocks—six against Wheaton and seven against Coe—averaging 1.22 blocks per set for the week. She also registered 38 kills.

The CCIW also listed previous weekly honorees for each category throughout September and October.
