Illinois Wesleyan University has expanded its lead after the second round of the 2025 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Golf Championship. The event is taking place at Metamora Fields Golf Club in Metamora, Illinois.

On Tuesday, Illinois Wesleyan posted a team score of 297, increasing its advantage to 26 shots heading into the final round on Wednesday. The Titans’ total for two rounds stands at 598 (301–297). North Central College is in second place with a combined score of 624 (315–309), while Augustana College holds third position at 631 (315–316). Carthage College is fourth with a total score of 637 (312–325).

Emily Gastrau from Illinois Wesleyan led individually after carding another round of 73, giving her a two-day total of 146 (73–73). She holds a three-stroke lead over her teammate Gigi Zera and Carthage’s Lexi Manteufel, both tied for second at 149. Madison Place from North Central is in fourth place with a score of 150. Nora Cerroni, also from Illinois Wesleyan, rounds out the top five at 151. The top seven players are separated by just six strokes.

The championship will conclude on Wednesday with one more round beginning at 9 a.m. at Metamora Fields Golf Club.
