Illinois Wesleyan’s Alex Bardouniotis and Eleanor Palmer, along with North Park’s Kendal Britton, have been recognized as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week.

Bardouniotis was named Hitter of the Week after leading Illinois Wesleyan to a sweep against North Park. She recorded nine kills on a .533 attack percentage, committing only one error in 15 attempts. In addition to her offensive performance, Bardouniotis contributed 11 digs, two aces, and a block during the three-set match.

Britton earned Setter of the Week honors for her role in North Park’s four-set victory over Governors State. The junior from Grand Rapids, Michigan averaged 10.29 assists per set across two matches and added an average of 2.00 digs per set.

Palmer received Defensive Player of the Week recognition for her efforts at North Park. She led her team with four blocks and helped limit the Vikings to a .115 hitting percentage. Palmer also tallied seven kills and two digs in Illinois Wesleyan's win.

The CCIW continues to highlight standout performances each week throughout its women’s volleyball season by naming top athletes in hitter, setter, and defensive categories.
