North Central's BJ Sorg earns CCIW weekly honor after leading team to perfect score

BJ Sorg, a junior at North Central College, has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week. The announcement was made by the conference office on Tuesday.

Sorg secured first place in the 8K race at the NCCXC Invitational, which took place last Friday at St. James Farm Forest Preserve in Warrenville, Illinois. He finished with a time of 24:26, marking his second-fastest performance on that course. His effort helped lead North Central to a perfect team score at the event.

The CCIW also recognized David Valkanov from Elmhurst as a previous honoree for the week of September 3.
