Seth Lewis, Illinois State Senator for 24th District | Illinois General Assembly
State Senator Seth Lewis (R-Bartlett) and State Representative Amy Grant (R-Wheaton) will host a Senior Resource Fair on Thursday, August 28. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Wheaton Park District, located at 1777 S. Blanchard Street in Wheaton. Admission is free, and refreshments will be available.
The fair is organized in partnership with more than 40 agencies that serve local seniors. According to Senator Lewis, “We’re excited to bring together over 40 local agencies and organizations dedicated to supporting the senior community. This event is a great opportunity for older adults, their families, and caregivers to connect with valuable services and resources. We’ll also be offering free health screenings, including blood pressure checks and fall risk assessments, to help promote wellness and independence.”
Organizations expected to participate include Advocate Health Advisors, Aetna, AgeOptions, Citizens Utility Board, DuPage County Community Services, Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital, Illinois Secretary of State Organ Donor program, Illinois State Police, Milton Township, Oak Street Health, University of Illinois Extension, Wheaton Fire Department, YWCA Metropolitan Chicago and others.
