State Senator Seth Lewis and State Representative Jennifer Sanalitro are organizing a Senior Expo on July 31 in Roselle. The event, which will take place at the Clauss Recreation Center, is free to attend and refreshments will be available. Non-perishable food items will also be collected for the Bloomingdale Township Food Pantry.

The expo aims to connect seniors with nearly 50 agencies specializing in senior needs. "We are bringing together close to 50 agencies and organizations that specialize in the needs of seniors, and attendees will be able to collect useful information and learn about available resources while visiting the booths," said Lewis. He added that free blood pressure checks and fall risk assessments would be offered, encouraging seniors, their families, or caregivers to attend.

Organizations participating include AARP Smart Driver, Advocate Health Advisors, AgeOptions, Cancer Wellness Center, DuPage County Health Department, Illinois Secretary of State Organ Donor Program, Illinois State Police, Nicor Gas, Roselle Fire Department among others.
